Lottery Winner Blows Through around 1 .6 Billion Naira Now She Rides the Bus to Work

Sharon Tirabassi is a generous soul. So generous that she gave away half of her $10.5 million Lotto Super 7 winnings and blew through the rest.

Today, the 35-year-old “penniless millionaire” rides the bus to work and struggles to make ends meet until her next paycheck.

Nine years ago, Tirabassi, of Hamilton, Ontario Canada, cashed in her winning Powerball ticket and collected $10,569,000.10.

At first Tirabassi and her then-boyfriend, Vinny, also 35, were ecstatic at their good fortune. They shared the wealth with family and close friends, lavishing their loved ones with gifts, cash, cars, and exotic trips. She gave her parents $1 million cash and divided another $1.75 million among her siblings.

She married Vinny in 2004, and they bought a dream home together for $515,000. They spent money recklessly, and at one point owned 4 cars — a bright yellow Hummer, a Mustang, a Dodge Charger and a $200,000-plus, customized Cadillac Escalade. Most of the $200,000 was spent on the Caddy’s elaborate sound system, which didn’t endear them to their neighbors.

Her personal license plate read: “BABIPHAT,” after Kimora Lee’s now-defunct clothing line.

Tirabassi said she didn’t like her neighbors. “They didn’t like young people,” she says.

Her available cash reserves seemed endless. Tirabassi said she would check her bank account from time to time, but there were so many zeroes she thought everything was fine.

“You don’t think it’ll go (at the time), right?” she says. Then one day she checked her bank account and the money was almost gone.

“And that was time for fun to stop and to just go back to life,” she says.

Her husband Vinny served 2 stints in prison and, eventually, she lost the house and all the cars (Vinny crashed the Mustang).

Osama Bin Laden’s Death: New Details Surface

fce1b613b784fd8f4f09985e9389fc75
There were “the Shooter” and “the Point Man.” Now a third member of SEAL Team 6 offers another account of the raid on Osama bin Laden that led to his death in 2011.

The report from CNN appears to contradict Esquire’s widely circulated story, “The Man Who Killed Osama bin Laden,” by Phil Bronstein. The unnamed source from CNN calls the Esquire account “complete B-S.”

The SEAL team member in the Esquire profile, who was described simply as the Shooter, claimed that he entered the compound and found bin Laden with a gun in reach and shot him.

“In that second, I shot him, two times in the forehead. Bap! Bap! The second time as he’s going down. He crumpled onto the floor in front of his bed. He was dead. I watched him take his last breaths,” the Shooter told Esquire.

That account conflicts with the first-person narrative from the bestselling book “No Easy Day,” written by Matt Bissonette under the alias Mark Owen.
According to a third account from the anonymous Navy SEAL Team 6 member who talked to CNN, the Point Man rushed up the stairs and shot bin Laden in the head, gravely wounding him.
CNN adds, “Having taken down bin Laden, the point man proceeded to rush two women he found in bin Laden’s bedroom, gathering them in his arms to absorb the explosion in case they were wearing suicide vests, something that was a real concern of those who planned the raid.”
Two more SEALs then found bin Laden wounded on the floor, and shot him in the chest. CNN’s source said there was no way the Shooter could have seen a gun in reach of bin Laden — since a gun was only discovered in the the suspected terrorist leader’s room after a thorough search.

This account appears to square with the one in “No Easy Day,” which asserts the Point Man took the first shots. Bissonette writes in his book that he was one of the members to shoot bin Laden as he lay on the floor.

Bronstein, when contacted by CNN, said he had passed along the questions around the raid to his source but had not heard back.

But according to CNN’s Peter Bergen, there’s no “I” in this SEAL team: He writes that in the briefing to President Obama post-raid, the members explained, “If you took one person out of the puzzle, we wouldn’t have the competence to do the job we did; everybody’s vital. It’s not about the guy who pulled the trigger to kill bin Laden, it’s about what we all did together.”

Mancini Gives Up On Title Race, Says “It’s Over”

Roberto_Mancini_2440105b

Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini has given up on his club’s Premier League title challenge on Thursday, saying his focus for the rest of the season was to keep the teams below them at a safe distance.

Defeat to Everton in their last Premier League game left City trailing leaders Manchester United by 15 points with nine games left.

United have shown no signs of relenting under the pressure of wresting the English title back from their near neighbours and have won their last six league matches.

“It’s over but this doesn’t change anything because we should do our best from now to the end,” Mancini told reporters.
“Every top team, when they can’t win a title, should still try to play well and win all their games.”

Mancini made the same assessment last season when City trailed United by eight points with six games to go before they rallied to snatch the title on the final day on goal difference.

“This is different (to last season),” Mancini added. “I don’t know how we will finish this season, because we have Chelsea four points behind us and Tottenham five points behind.

“We have nine games left and for this reason it’s important we keep working hard and well.”

Police arrest mother, aunt of suspect who shot baby in stroller

Police have arrested the mother and aunt of a Brunswick, GA teenager who shot a baby in the face, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Sherri West told police she was returning home from the post office on Thursday when she was approached by two teens who asked her for money. When she told them she didn’t have any money, the oldest of the 2 boys pulled a gun and shot her toddler. Antonio, in the face as he slept in his stroller.

13-month-old Antonio was pronounced dead at the scene. The toddler was cremated 2 days later and his mother asked the crematory staff to dispose of the child’s ashes.

West was also shot in the thigh and another bullet grazed her ear.

Police took De’Marquise Elkins, 17, into custody on Sunday, after a relative of his 14-year-old accomplice told authorities the boy was acting strangely.

Karimah Elkins, 36, and 33-year-old Katrina Elkins, Elkins’s aunt and mother were arrested Monday night and charged with making false statements to police, the AJC reports.
Karimah Elkins originally told police De’Marquise showed up at her home at 8:30 a.m. Thursday and ate breakfast. She said the teen accompanied her as she ran errands with her children throughout the day. She said he could not have shot the baby because he was with her all day.

The two women posted $1,104 bail and bonded out of jail Tuesday morning, according to the SavannahNow website.

Glynn County police Chief Matt Doering told the Associated Press that information the two women gave to police was instrumental in helping police recover the murder weapon.

“I feel glad that justice will be served,” West said. “It’s not something I’m going to live with very well. I’m just glad they caught him.”

De’Marquise Elkins’ sister, Sabrina Elkins, told AP her brother was innocent. “He couldn’t have done that to a little baby,” she said. “My brother has a good heart.”

Tonto Dikeh Needs To Learn How To Sing – OJB

Tonto-Dike1
Babatunde Jezreel Okungbowa popularly known as OJB is no stranger to the Nigerian music industry. Matter of fact, he can be described as one of the pioneers of the industry as a veteran music producer and singer.

In an interview culled from Nigerian Tribune in which he talks about his sojourn in music and how he has remained relevant for almost two decades, OJB shared his thoughts on Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh’s entry into the music scene.

He said: “The problem is that she wasn’t listening to the key thing. People did not download the song out of love but out of surprise. If she really wants to go into music professionally, she needs to take out her time and learn how to sing.”
However, OJB notes that she did not learn as her subsequent efforts do not show any remarkable improvement. “It’s a lot easier to cross into acting from singing but a lot harder to cross into singing from acting. If after her first single, she got better people to coach and produce her songs, she might not have complained so much but there was no improvement.”

And he concluded by saying of the actress, “As far as I’m concerned, Tonto Dike’s delving into the music industry is a bad idea right now. Her wanting to sing is not bad but her thinking that on the platform of the fact that she is a movie star, so she can sing, is a very bad idea.”

It Is Important To Remember Peter Odemwingie’s Good Times – UK Columnist

It’s such a sad sight to see the player who brought so much joy to Albion fans quickly turn from hero to Public Enemy No.1.

The Baggies’ most celebrated achievements in recent years have been largely down to Peter Odemwingie – the man Albion fans now love to hate.

I’m not going to argue with any supporter for venting their anger at the Nigerian for the way he has conducted himself in recent times.
But what I will say is, it is still important to remember the good times that the ‘old Peter’ produced.
And without sounding like I’m reading off the once-adored striker’s Twitter feed, there were plenty of them.

Not only did he single-handedly keep Albion in the Premier League in 2010-11 – the long-term effect of those goals is still paying off today.

Odemwingie was the man who helped the club lose its ‘yo-yo’ tag – his back-to-back seasons of double figures built the platform for the success they are now enjoying.

Then there were the local derbies.
In nine games against Wolves, Villa and Blues combined, the 31-year-old has hit seven goals.
He set the standard very early in his Albion career by inspiring his new side to a 3-1 victory over Blues in just his third Hawthorns appearance.

Odemwingie then helped Albion take the early steps towards becoming kings of the West Midlands.
More than a quarter of a century had passed without a league win over Villa until April 30, 2011, when that man again proved pivotal.

But it was his hat-trick against Wolves last season that is undoubtedly his greatest ever day in a blue and white shirt.

Three goals earned him the match ball in a 5-1 victory, which saw drastic consequences follow for their bitter rivals.

Whats wrong with This Boy? Justin bieber Spotted Walking Shirtless at The Airport

Though Olivia Wilde tried to plead with him quite reasonably, Justin Bieber is back to his shirtless ways.

The 19-year-old singer was seen passing airport security in Lodz, Poland, on Monday. For whatever reason, he thought it was appropriate to take his shirt off, again.

Now, we've all passed through airport security at some point and we all know it's no laughing matter. Shoes often need to be removed as well as belts, keys and phones. But shirts? Whatever Bieber's shirt was made out of, it likely doesn't need to be removed. It's not made of metal.

To make matters worse, the temperature in Lodz at the time was about 14 degrees. "He wasn't told to take off his clothes," a spokeswoman for the Lodz airport told Reuters. "He had no metal objects on him. He's quite skinny so I assume he was probably freezing."

This is hardly the first time the Biebs has been photographed with his shirt off (exhibit A: his much talked-about 19th-birthday celebrations in London earlier this month).

More often than not, he's also the one doing the snapping. As a big fan of his own ripped abs, Biebo likes to share his grown-up belly with his fans.

Last time the media paid attention to his rather odd behavior (constantly shirtless, lunging at the paparazzi, those types of things), Bieber took to Instagram to "clear things up." We wonder what he'll have to say for himself this time.

POLICE: BRITISH HOSTAGE TAKEN IN NIGERIA RELEASED

A police spokeswoman in Nigeria says a British man kidnapped from the country's largest city has been released.
Lagos state police spokeswoman Ngozi Braide told The Associated Press on Thursday that the man had been freed by his captors Tuesday. Braide said she did not know whether a ransom had been paid.
A spokesman for the British High Commission in Nigeria's capital, Abuja, confirmed the man had been released but offered no details.
Kidnappings of foreigners remain common in Nigeria, either for political reasons or for cash ransoms. However, such kidnappings rarely occur in Lagos, the commercial capital of Nigeria. The abduction came as Nigeria faces increasing insecurity with extremist attacks across its north.

Chelsea Transfer: Mourinho & Ronaldo Move Stamford Bridge

Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho and Cristiano Ronaldo returning to England, the transfer take place at the end of the season.
According to sources close to the self-anointed Special One, Real Madrid Manager Jose Mourinho is once again the chosen one. He is the man Roman Abramovich wants to succeed interim manager Rafa Benitez and a deal, say those sources, is as good as done.
This is not something anyone can confirm. Not when Jose Mourinho remains the manager of Real Madrid, and the Spaniards remain in the hunt for the Champions League championship this season. But Jose Mourinho has made no secret of his desire to return to England and the pouting Portuguese coach rarely speaks without an agenda. According to sources close to the self-anointed Special One, Real Madrid Manager Jose Mourinho is once again the chosen one. He is the man Roman Abramovich wants to succeed interim manager Rafa Benitez and a deal, say those sources, is as good as done.
‘I cannot deny what is clear in my mind,’ Mourinho said recently. ‘After Real Madrid, England, that’s for sure. I keep saying the same, I know clearly.’
He said he could manage ‘everyone’. That he is ‘a professional’ who would have to consider offers from other English clubs should they come.
Manchester City have been linked with a move for Mourinho, while Sir Alex Ferguson has made no secret of his admiration for his close friend.
When Ferguson does eventually retire, Mourinho would certainly be among the leading candidates to replace him, but a move to Manchester now looks extremely unlikely.
The only area in which Roman Abramovich has shown any consistency since taking over at Chelsea is in his ability to surprise.

5 Things Every Dad Should Teach His Son

Example: When skipping a stone, a flat, smooth rock is what rolls.

Yes, we live in a modern age full of smartphones and YouTube tutorials, but there still is no substitute for hands-on learning through participation and repetition. After all, father-son bonding through oral traditions goes back to the dawn of time. My boys love to hear about how I spent my time as a kid in a pre-cable, pre-internet, pre-gaming world. And they love even more hearing about the skills I learned in my youth.

1. How to Skip a Stone: There are two key elements to successful stone skipping: the rock and the throw. Ideally, the rock should be flat and smooth on both sides. I personally favor a rock that looks like a paper football (triangular). Once you’ve found your rock, you’ll need to master the throw. Grip the rock between your forefinger and thumb. Aim to throw the rock straight, facing out from your palm, so its flight is perpendicular to the water’s surface. Flick your wrist on release (like you would a baseball), and watch your rock skip! Ten skips is impressive; anything over 20 is exceptional.

2. How to Climb a Tree: Much like skipping stones, how you choose your tree is crucial. Novices should select a tree in which they can reach up and grasp a branch while still standing on the ground. They will also want to make sure branches are within arm’s reach once they’re off the ground. An expert tree-climber will take the Tarzan approach and hug the tree’s trunk tightly while placing his feet heel-to-toe until he has reached his first branch. Most important: Make sure any and every branch will be able to support your weight. A good tip: If the branch is the size of your arm, stick as close as possible to the tree’s center where the branch and tree connect. A branch the size of your thigh or bigger should be able to hold you sufficiently farther away from the tree’s core.

3. How to Do Laundry: Teaching your son to wash his own clothes will go a long way. Different clothes can require different handling. These days, most washing machines are as complicated as your DVR remote, but there are two basic rules of thumb: 1) Wash whites in hot water; and 2) Wash colors in cold water.

Criticism about the vacation of Obama daughters

Speaking on a radio program, Rep. Steve King, R-Iowa, ripped into President Obama for sending his daughters, Sasha and Malia, on a vacation while the federal government is being squeezed by the so-called sequester.

ThinkProgress, a progressive blog, reports that King was speaking on the "Mickelson in the Morning" program. A listener named Carla called in and began to reprimand Michelle Obama for vacationing in the Bahamas with her two daughters.
"It's hard to stomach. When we're tightening our belts, we should either all do it or none of us do it," she said, referring to sequestration – the recent round of automatic spending cuts that went into effect earlier this month when Congress and President Obama failed to reach a budget agreement.

Earlier this week, conservative news outlet Breitbart.com reported that the girls were on spring break, and named the resort where they were staying.

King agreed with the caller, saying, "Carla, you're on point and on the mark all the way through." King then went on to mention that the girls vacationed in Mexico the year before.
"He sent the daughters to spring break in Mexico a year ago," King said, referring to President Obama. "That was at our expense, too. And now to the Bahamas at one of the most expensive places there. That is the wrong image to be coming out of the White House."

The Obamas pay for family vacations themselves. But critics complain that those costs do not include security measures.

King, who is mulling over a Senate bid in 2014, has been an outspoken critic of President Obama for years. During the 2008 presidential campaign, King predicted that should Obama beat John McCain, "then the radical Islamists, the al-Qaida, the radical Islamists and their supporters, will be dancing in the streets in greater numbers than they did on September 11 ..."

Help!!! My Husband Has Been Sleeping With Our Daughter

Dear Readers: Help!!! My Husband Has Been Sleeping With Our Daughter

I had always wanted to marry a loving and most especially a caring man, and finally one of such men came my way, oh, and what did I do, grabbed it with both hands.

I was even happier when he said he liked “the girl child”, and babies in general, because of course, that would take some pressure off me.

We got married and had our first baby; it was a girl, an adorable jewel to behold. She was fair skinned, very weighty, and I knew she was going to grow up to be the cynosure of all eyes.

And my husband, wow, was really supportive, helped with everything except bosom feeding. He was awake at nights, tending to our baby, wasn’t complaining, to cap it all up, he was more like the mother and I, the dad.

Our daughter grew up to be, as I guessed, an adorable princess and everyone wanted to have a second look at her.

As she grew I noticed that she was closer to her dad than she was to me and I just concluded that it was because her father spent more time with her at the formative stage.

Later when she got into the senior secondary school, I noticed that this time, she wasn’t even coming so close to any of us, and again I concluded that it was one of those “trying to adapt to a new environment” since we just moved.

All hell was let loose when she fell ill and had to be rushed to the hospital, and series of tests was done on her, and the pregnancy tests came out positive!!!!!!!!! Ha, I almost died.

After Taking Off Her Clóthes on Camera, Waje Wants Another Man

It appears the whole drama of taking off her clóthes during the shoot of her video is a gimmick to show the guys that she's still got 'hot body' despite being a single mother. Her relationship with the man who imprégnated her didn't work out, so she is hunting for a new man.

Below is what Singer Waje said about the kind of man she wants:
"I want a man who fears God. A man who is confident and comfortable and would not be intimidated by things that come with what I do. I know what it is to be talking with a friend and somebody you don't know from Adam would come to excuse you and say 'I want to take a picture with you'. It keeps going on and on. So it's somebody who understands that can take this. Then that person must be handsome.
"As a single mother the natural question people must ask is about the relationship that produced the child and what happened? some things are better left unsaid. It did not work out that is it. It has nothing to do with music or me doing music, it just didn't work out."
So guys, if you know you're handsome humbly apply to Waje. *wink!*

Imagine What This 40yrs Old Man Did To A Baby Inside Church

Parents be careful with people they allow to 'play' with your babies:

As you read this, Mr Kingsley Ndubisi, a 40-year old man, has been arrested and charged to court for defiling a 10-month old girl right inside a church. He was arraigned before an Igbosere Magistrate’s Court on a one-count charge of felony to wit, defilement of a minor.

The incident, according to the police, occurred at the True Tabernacle Church in Lagos.

The police said Ndubisi was arrested following a complaint by the parents of the victim that the accused on 14 March, 2013 at the church defiled their 10-month old daughter by fingering her private part. This resulting in the little girl bleeding from her private part.

During interrogation, Mr Ndubisi was said to have confessed to the crime.

After investigation by a police team led by Corporal Raymond Udoeka at the division, the accused was charged to court for the offence which is punishable under Section 137 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State of Nigeria, 2011.

But while in court, the accused pleaded not guilty to the charge and magistrate Mrs. A.F. Adeeyo admitted him on bail in the sum of N200,000 with two sureties in like sum who must have proof of tax payment to the Lagos State government.

The defendant has been remanded at Ikoyi Prison pending when he would fulfill the bail condition, which the case was adjourned to 5th April, 2013.

Senegalese woman traffics drugs for lover

A 33-year-old woman, Kamara Oumou, who was arrested by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, has said she got involved in drug trafficking because of love.

Oumou, a Senegalese, was arrested at the Muritala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos while attempting to board an Arik flight to Dakar after a one-week visit to her Nigerian lover, Hakeem.

Oumou had used industrial tape to strap three parcels of cocaine weighing 515 grammes to her waist, while six wraps of heroin weighing 165 grammes were inserted into her private parts.

NDLEA airport commander, Mr. Hamza Umar, said, “Oumou had in her possession a Senegalese international passport with number, 400680371.

“She was found to be in possession of 680 grammes of narcotic that tested positive for heroin and cocaine. It was carefully concealed but not intelligent enough to escape our detection.”

Oumou, however, said she was not paid money to smuggle the drugs.
She said, “How can I ask my boyfriend to pay me? I smuggled the drugs because of the love I have for Hakeem.”

Hakeem and Oumou allegedly met in Dakar where Hakeem had lived for 11 years. The couple were said to have dated for six months before Hakeem returned to Nigeria in December 2012.

It was learnt that Hakeem invited Oumou to Lagos and checked into a hotel where they spent a week together.
Oumou said her lover brought the drug to her hotel.

Amosun Describes Awolowo’s Death As A Big Loss

Governor Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun State has described the death of Oluwole Awolowo, a scion of the Obafemi Awolowo family, as a sad occurrence which has thrown the entire state into mourning.

The late Oluwole Awolowo

Mr Amosun said that the fact that the late Awolowo was survived by his mother, the revered matriarch of the family who is seen by all Nigerians as symbol of Nigerian nationalism, made the departure of the second Republic legislator the irreparable loss even more painful.
“We are surprised to hear about the sudden departure of the Publisher of Tribune titles who was not only the son of our late sage but was himself a major political figure, going by the prominent role he played in the Second Republic when he served meritoriously as a legislator in the Lagos state House of Assembly.
“The entire people of Ogun state mourn the departure of this illustrious son of our dear state. Our condolences go to the entire Awolowo family, particularly our dear mama, Chief (Mrs) H. I. D. Awolowo. We pray that God Almighty will console and strengthen them at this time of grief. We also pray that God should grant the dead eternal rest”, Mr Amosun said.

People in uniform voted best in bed

Does a uniform really make you better in bed? (Picture: Getty Images)
Most women will agree, there’s nothing hotter than a man in a fireman’s outfit. And most men will tell you their ultimate fantasy is a nurse’s uniform.

But it seems that not only does a uniform make you more attractive to the opposite sex, but it means you are also considered to be good in bed.

A poll by dating site www.BeNaughty.com has revealed that a uniform is not only sexy, but we’re also more likely to consider those wearing one as better in bed, along with more honest and respectful in a relationship.

So if you’re looking for a passionate fling, look no further than a uniform.

‘A uniform gives connotations of authority, power and strength, and these are all qualities that we often seek in a partner,’ says Sean Wood, from Cupid plc.

The results show 52 per cent of men and 37 per cent of women believe that people in uniform are more attentive partners in the bedroom.

And astonishingly more than 70 per cent of both sexes thought that they would be treated better on a date by someone wearing one.

And the preconceptions don’t end there: 50 per cent of women and 46 per cent of men also said that they consider honesty to be someone wearing a uniform’s most important quality.
But it seems not all uniforms are equal.

The typical stripper attire of a policeman, doctor and pilot were all beaten to the top spot by the most popular uniform of all – a soldier. The poll revealed women can’t get enough of the guys in camouflage.

So if you’re single maybe it’s time to get to a fancy dress shop, pronto. Failing that enrol at your nearest Army Careers Office.

The key to success is finding what area suits you. There are 22 types of modelling, including fashion, commercial, character and glamour. If you’re built to model swimwear, for example, then model swimwear – though that doesn’t mean you can’t try other areas.
3. Be able to perform on demand.
No model is a one face wonder. Casting directors want to see a range of emotions and characters.
4. Be determined and hard-working.
A modelling career isn’t just going to fall into your lap.

5. Have a great attitude!
Be professional, patient and pleasant to work with. Shoots can last hours, even weeks. No one likes a diva.

6. Be versatile and able to take directions.
‘Can’t’ is not a word in modelling. If you are asked to show vulnerability, then rage, you need to be able to swap convincingly without a thought. This is where practice makes perfect.

7. Be able to take rejection and constructive criticism.
Modelling is highly competitive. You won’t be right for every job. The trick is to pick yourself up and take rejection as something to build upon, rather than knock you down.

8. Be able to attend lots of castings, sometimes without much notice.
Jobs can be a bit like buses. Sometimes, you need to run like mad to catch the last one home.

9. Have great organisational skills to keep track of schedules and finances.
Often as not, especially within freelance modelling, you’ll have to keep an eye on your own schedule, pay and expenses. An organised brain and diary is a must.

10. Maintain a healthy lifestyle, eat the right food and look after your body and skin.
Treat your body as your most important asset. As a model, your appearance is your job.

Top 10 reasons National Cleavage Day is definitely a viable cause for celebration

Yes, it’s National Cleavage Day today. Comes round so fast, doesn’t it?
Most of us had barely come down from the high of the last one and here it is again – good old National Cleavage Day, 2013. It’s the one day of the year that proudly reminds us girls that we are worth so much more than the sum total of our breasts. We are worth the sum total of our breasts squashed together.
But there may be some of you who have started to wonder whether National Cleavage Day has any real meaning or purpose. For the cynics, here are the top 10 reasons that NCD is totally a viable cause for celebration…
10. What else are we supposed to do at the end of March?
There is literally nothing else to do this week apart from celebrate cleavages. I would be amazed if you could find anything – anything – of cultural, social or religious significance that is going on at the moment. Hell, they’ve even given us all a four-day weekend to celebrate cleavages. That’s how important it is!

9. Being a multi-faceted human being is just not good enough
What, do you think they’re going to celebrate your personality? ‘National Personality Day’? Don’t make me laugh! No; your boobs are the best bit about you and don’t you forget it.

8. Cleavage > boobs
Regularly hoisted boobs are nice enough, but let’s face it; they never look better than when stuffed into a bra three sizes too small.
That’s why National Cleavage Day works so well. It says: ‘Ladies, we like your boobs just fine when they’re sitting naturally out in front and even when you’ve plonked them casually into some kind of undergarment. But if you really want to impress, why not cruelly pack your breasts into a plunge bra made for self-conscious pre-teens, so that they rest uncomfortably somewhere between your collarbone and your earlobes? That’s it – show them no mercy. Scrumptious.’

7. Everything else has its own day
Mothers; fathers; bloody ‘no smoking’ – everything has its own national day. Why shouldn’t half-strangled appendages get theirs?

6. Search Engine Optimisation
National Cleavage Day allows websites to write things with ‘cleavage’ in the headline. If you haven’t heard of SEO, go and look it up (on Google, naturally) and come back here to appreciate the fortuitousness of NCD. Now can you see why we’re also crossing our fingers for National Jennifer Lawrence Hot Day and National Rihanna Naked Boobs Sex Day?

5. Katie Price hasn’t been relevant for a while
But mark my words, she’ll be back before the day is out. In fact, I’m not entirely convinced this whole day hasn’t been orchestrated by her PR team in an effort to get her name back out there.

4. Women with good cleavages should be recognised for their efforts
There are women out there – real, human women – who have spent thousands of pounds and even more thousands of hours perfecting their cleavages. Employing everything from invasive cosmetic surgery to t*t-tape, these women have dedicated much of their lives to the cause of looking a bit like they’ve got 2x Heston Blumenthal stuck on their chests. And that, surely, is to be commended.

3. And women with poorly performing cleavages need to be chastised
Equally, there are some women who have forgotten the importance of having sizeable chest-booty. These females are labouring under the misapprehension that there are more pressing matters in life, like earning a living and caring for their young.
To these women, National Cleavage Day says: ‘Boo you, you gross-looking shrew! For the love of all things holy, put down that breastfeeding child and concentrate on what’s important!’

2. Don’t you know there’s a recession on?
Oh look, National Cleavage Day hasn’t been orchestrated entirely by Katie Price’s PR team, after all. In fact, it’s the work of those folks at Wonderbra, who helpfully, also have a range of cleavage-enhancing bras you’re invited to purchase in the event that March 27th leaves you feeling a little on the inadequate side. It’s not beyond the realms of possibility that a consortium of cosmetic surgeons are in on the act, too.
But don’t be cynical – what’s good for our boobs is good for the economy is good for Britain. God save the Queen.

Hugh Hefner, the ultimate Playboy, has claimed to have slept with more than 1,000 women.
But the 86-year-old insisted he had never cheated during his three marriages.
Asked by Esquire magazine how many girls he’d had sex with, he said: ‘How could I possibly know? Over a thousand, I’m sure.
‘There were chunks of my life when I was married, and when I was married I never cheated.
‘But I made up for it when I wasn’t married. You have to keep your hand in.’

Hefner wed for a third time last year to British model Crystal Harris, 26.
He had been married to his first wife Mildred Williams in 1949.
They had two children together, Christie and David, but the two went their separate ways in 1959.
He got hitched for the second time in 1989 to Playmate of the Year Kimberley Conrad but this didn’t last either and they separated in 1998, before getting divorced in 2010.

Olympic cyclist Sir Chris Hoy caught in Taiwan earthquake scare

‘Pretty scary’: Cyclist Sir Chris Hoy was in his hotel
when the earthquake struck Picture: PA
Olympic cycling star Sir Chris Hoy was caught up in a fatal earthquake that struck central Taiwan early today.

He was staying with his wife in a hotel in Taichung, about 64km (40 miles) north of the earthquake’s epicentre in the mostly rural county of Nantou. The 6.1-magnitude quake killed one person and left at least 19 others injured after they were hit by by falling objects on the east Asian island.

Sir Chris, 37, wrote on Twitter: ‘In Taichung, just experienced my first proper earthquake!
Building shaking and swaying, light fittings & pictures falling off the walls!’
He added: ‘Wow, it felt pretty scary here on the 15th floor of our hotel!’

His wife, Sarra, also tweeted: ‘The earthquake has stopped but I’m still shaking.’
The quake, which occurred at a relatively shallow depth of 15km (9 miles), was felt throughout Taiwan, the Central Weather Bureau said.

Buildings swayed in the capital, Taipei, and sections of the high-speed rail were suspended from service to be inspected for damage.

A 72-year-old woman became the first known fatality, emergency officials said. She died when a temple wall she was standing next to collapsed and crushed her in Nantou, they added.

Sir Chris - the most successful Olympic cyclist of all time - was yesterday unveiled as a champion for Glasgow’s bid to host the 2018 Youth Olympic Games. Other Olympic stars backing the bid include rower Katherine Grainger, silver medal-winning swimmer Michael Jamieson and taekwondo gold medallist Jade Jones, Team GB said.

Sir Chris is an 11-time world champion, six-time Olympic champion and has won a total of seven Olympic Games medals – six gold and one silver.

With his three Olympic gold medals in 2008, he became Scotland’s most successful Olympian, the first Briton to win three gold medals in a single Olympic Games since Henry Taylor in 1908 and the most successful Olympic cyclist.

He won a further two gold medals at London 2012, making him the most successful British Olympian of all time in terms of gold medals, and the joint most decorated athlete with fellow cyclist Bradley Wiggins.

Clever cat walks dog on a leash to owner’s front door

Walkies: Cat marches the dog home (Picture:)

Going for a walk is the highlight of any dog’s day but this canine looks less than impressed at being bossed around by one particularly clever cat.

While it’s dogs that are usually doing the chasing after cats, it’s obvious who the boss is in this unusual pet relationship.

Picking up the dog’s leash in its mouth, the formidable feline pulls the co-operative pet along while meowing loudly to keep the canine in check.

Refusing to let the dog dilly-dally, the moggy marches him up a set of stairs to home as their owner films the hilarious incident.

‘Cat taking the dog home’ has already racked up over 250,000 hits on YouTube in just a matter of days receiving thousands of likes.

’32 dislikes is equal to dogs watching this,’ wrote one amused user.
Another added: ‘That cat is strict – I heard the ‘meow’ command.’

The demanding cat is not the only feline internet video star, last year a cat sitting on a wall like a human was shared thousands of times over online.

Rare two-headed bull shark found in US

A two-headed bull shark has been found in the Gulf of Mexico, US scientists have confirmed.
The specimen – a world first for a bull shark – was a single fish with two heads and not conjoined twins, experts from Michigan State University confirmed.

It has two heads, hearts and stomachs, with the remainder of its body joined at the bank to form a single tail.

‘This is certainly one of those interesting and rarely detected phenomena,’ said Prof Michael Wagner, the study’s co-author.

‘It’s good that we have this documented as part of the world’s natural history.’
The two-headed wonder was discovered when a fisherman in the Florida Keys caught its mother and gutted her in April 2011.

Unlike Blinky, the three-eyed fish in The Simpsons, the shark’s deformity is the result of the embryo failing to split into two separate organisms – and not nuclear dumping.

‘Halfway through the process of forming twins, the embryo stops dividing,’ Prof Wagner added.

But the fetus and its stunted body would not have survived for long in the ocean.

‘When you’re a predator that needs to move fast to catch other fast-moving fish … that’d be nearly impossible with this mutation,’ he said.

The study was published online in the Journal of Fish Biology.

Stars join Prince Charles to pay tribute to youngsters helped by Prince’s Trust

Stars of stage, screen and song joined Prince Charles to pay tribute to some remarkable young people who have overcome adversity to achieve success.
Charles presented seven awards celebrating young people who turned their lives around with the help of his Prince’s Trust. He joked with hosts Ant and Dec about their youthful looks, as well as about the pair’s pop single Let’s Get Ready To Rhumble.
‘They seem to have discovered the secret of eternal youth. I suspect it must be all that rhumbling they do.

‘Anyway, I hope they keep rhumbling on,’ he quipped.

Guests at the Oscars-style ceremony at London’s Leicester Square Odeon included trust ambassadors DJ Mark Ronson, The Wire star Idris Elba, Homeland actor Damian Lewis and actress Dame Helen Mirren.
Charles continued the jokes in his speech with a reference to Dame Helen’s current theatre role as the Queen in The Audience on the West End stage. ‘I have a feeling that Dame Helen Mirren should really be putting on a familiar wig in some West End theatre now,’ he said.
Speaking about how he feels about his charity and its annual awards ceremony, Charles said: ‘Each time it makes me feel prouder and prouder.’

Dame Helen was moved to tears by one award winner, Naomi Johnston, 27, from Edinburgh. Miss Johnston received the young ambassador of the year award. Dame Helen said: ‘All the young people here today are truly inspirational. Their remarkable stories have blown me away.’
Afsana Benozir, 20, from Tower Hamlets, London, was the young achiever of the year award and enjoyed a hug with Charles which prompted a standing ovation from the audience. She self-harmed and twice tried to kill herself after being abused aged six by a family friend.
She now plans to study medicine at university this year. Actor Damien Lewis presented her award and said: ‘Afsana’s story is truly remarkable. I’m honoured to have met her.’
The Prince’s Trust and Samsung Celebrate Success Awards recognise young people who have overcome challenges such as homelessness, drug addiction, unemployment and mental health issues.
