World’s Shortest Man And Woman Come Together For The First Time To Launch Book

Chandra Bahadur Dangi, the world’s shortest man and Jyoti Amge, the world’s shortest woman met for the first time to celebrate the organisation which made them famous.
The 18-year-old from India and the 72-year-old Nepalese both made headlines last winter when they were given their titles by the Guinness World Records.

Chandra  and Jyoti may be generations apart but were joking and laughing as they posed for photos with the new book, both dressed in traditional outfits from their native countries.
The photoshoot for the release of the book gave them another record to add to their list – it is the first time the world’s smallest man and woman have met in recorded history

The official authority on record-breaking achievements is set to release its 57th edition of the world’s best-selling copyright book, Guinness World Records 2013.
The book has sold 120 million copies to date and Guinness World Records receives more than 1,000 applications each week and has a specialized team of multi-language record managers and adjudicators who travel the globe to verify official record attempts.

Damino Damoche: Palpable Fear In LASU As Gruesome Photos Of Killed Suspected Cultists Go Viral

If reports on social networks such as Twitter and Facebook are anything to go by, then the Lagos State University, LASU, might have not heard the last of the gruesome killing of rising hip hop sensation, Damilola Olaniyan Ibrahim, popularly known as Damino Damoche.
Damilola, 25, a final year Banking and Finance student of the Lagos State University, who was gunned down by men suspected to be cultists few meters away from his institution last Thursday, has since been buried at the Badagry Cemetry according to Islamic rites.
Meanwhile, some gory pictures of corpses suspected to be students of the Lagos State University went viral on the Internet on Saturday, heightening tension in the school and its environs.
This has led to speculations by students of the institution that some cult members might have gone on a vengeance spree over the death of Damilola.
Reports on social network such as Facebook and Twitter stated that some cult members attacked and killed some students living off campus.
One report puts it this way: “Some cult members believed to belong to Aiye and Bucanners went to attack some cult members belonging to Eiye Confraternity that live off campus. Olaniyan was believed to be a member of Bucanners. It was his gang members that went on the killing spree to avenge his death.”
However, the Student Union President, Ibrahim Tunji, denied the death of more students, adding that normalcy had since returned to the campus.

He said, “I have not received news of the death of any student. I left the school on Friday and I came back on Saturday so I would know if anything had happened. You know anyone can fabricate any story but I don’t think there is need for panic.”

Chanel Tapper, a student from California, USA, has the world’s longest tongue, measuring 9.75 cm (3.8 in), from tip to top lip.
Her lizard-like tongue is twice as long as the average, as long as the world’s largest cockroach, as wide as your palm, the same volume as a quarter pounder hamburger and around the same length as an iPhone.
She shared a few details of her life in an interview with Guinness World Records.

What do you do for a living? What’s a typical day for you in your hometown?
I am a full-time student and I work part-time. I just moved to Houston, Texas, so I’m still adjusting, but in my home town there is no typical day.
I love to go out, so I can be anywhere at any given time.
When did you first realise that your tongue was longer than average? What happened?
I was eight and my mom and I were taking pictures for Halloween.

In one of the pictures we stuck our tongues out. I noticed I had a long tongue when the pictures from Halloween were printed and I saw it…but I guess it became apparent in middle school when people started commenting on it.
Why I stuck my tongue out at people, I don’t know… I’m goofy! But there are still some people from back then that only remember me because of my tongue!
What reaction do you get from people when they see it?
For most people it’s a jaw-dropping experience. It’s like they don’t believe what they see and nine out of ten times, they’ll ask me to do it again.

Some girls/women have screamed/jumped back. If there are other people around, the person who saw my tongue will tell the nearest next to them.
I’ll often get asked questions like, “can you touch your nose or elbow?” and, “do you choke people when you kiss them?”

Goldie’s best friend and controversial presenter almost lost his life today after getting robbed by a team of dare devil robbers who stormed his family house and carted away with all their valuables.

Rising Music Act Damino Damoche Shot Dead (Photos)

Budding hip hop artist Olaniyan Damilola, popularly known as "Damino Damoche," was shot dead this afternoon by suspected campus fraternity gangs at the Lagos State University.

The incident took place at about 4:30 p.m. Nigerian time. Eyewitnesses said Damoche's assailants apparently trailed him on a motorbike after he finished a class test in Banking and Finance. He was a 400 level student.
The attack appears to be a reprisal attack from a rival gang, as Damoche was known to be a member of the Eiye Confraternity. Members of that confraternity took to Twitter to promise reprisals on his assailants.
Damoche was shot twice, in the head and on the left hand, with what appeared to be a high caliber weapon. He lay dead for several hours before policemen took his body away in a pick-up van.
He was a Banking and Finance student of the school. His hit songs include “OBO TO CHE” Featuring Skaliey, And ‘Fall In The Circle’ featuring- DRAMA, & Feel Aray Featuring Stormy Zino & IQ(House Of Ginjah).
Damoche was born in Lagos Nigeria into a family of 3, a native of Ogun State. He was well composed as noted by his all-embracing chill character. A Student Of Lagos State University (LASU).
He started his music trade with some guys called “Middle Guys”. When things did not go well, he went as a solo artiste and got parties rocking, picking up the microphone at a very tender age, doing music underground and as well organizing street shows.
He has sang with artists like Drama,Dj Zeez,Konga, Prince Banton, Zee World, Shanko Rasheed, Skaliey, Baddo, B.O.Y and still planning to work with Durrela, 2Face, D’Banj and other top Nigerian artists.
