A Nigerian Air Force aircraft at about 12 noon on Thursday, crashed as it approached the military airbase along Aba Road in Port Harcourt although no casualties have been reported.
Information Nigeria learnt that the aircraft which was on training exercise, crash landed as it attempted to land make an emergency landing and immediately went up in flames.
Authorities of the Special Operations Group of the Nigerian Air Force in Port Harcourt closed their doors immediately the incident happened and sealed the crash site from the prying eyes of journalists.
This latest crash is coming on the heels of the death of two pilots who were killed last week as their fighter jet crashed in Niamey, Niger Republic.
