Chief Of Air Staff Orders Probe Into Copter Crash In PH

A panel of experts has been constituted to unravel the circumstances behind Thursday’s crash of a Nigerian Air Force Parade helicopter on the runway of the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) Base in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.This was made known in a statement signed by Airforce Deputy Director, Public Relations, Group Capt. Dele Jerry Alonge.

Alonge said the Mi-24B helicopter was on a training exercise when it made an emergency landing at about 10:00a.m.

“There was no casualty as all the crew members came out unhurt.

“The Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Alex Sabundu Badeh, on receipt of the report, has immediately constituted a team of experts to unravel the circumstances that led to the accident.”
