Robbing a bank under the influence is dumb. Robbing a bank while
under the influence and wearing underwear on your head to conceal your
identity, now that’s pure entertainment.
Daniel Anfray decided to do just that last Friday, when he strolled
into his local bank carrying a pocket knife and a pair of draws on his
head demanding money.
The 56 year-old French man, who had a little
somethin’ somethin’ to drink beforehand, was quickly recognized by a
teller who asked him to put away his knife before police arrived.
Anfray, who was recently released from prison after serving time for a
drunk driving charge, was found to have a blood alcohol level of 0.2,
more than double the limit in most American states. He was sentenced to
eight months in prison and two years probation for the failed robbery
attempt.
